How long does the implementation of codeto take?

The implementation of codeto is usually completed within a few days. codeto can be tested free of charge for 30 days. During the trial period and implementation, we provide support through demos and training sessions to ensure a structured and efficient start.

Is codeto an alternative to Excel for workforce scheduling?

Yes. codeto was developed to overcome the limitations of Excel in workforce scheduling. Unlike Excel, codeto enables real-time updates for all parties, automatically prevents double bookings and provides a mobile app for employees in the field.

Can codeto be used with multiple locations?

Yes. codeto supports businesses with multiple locations or branches. Settings such as public holidays can be managed separately per location. The planning overview can be filtered by location, team or department.

What support does codeto offer?

codeto offers support by email and aims to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours on working days. Detailed documentation is also available at docs.codeto.ch. During implementation, we provide support through demos and training sessions.

Where is my data stored?

All data is hosted in Switzerland and is subject to Swiss data protection regulations. codeto does not process any data outside Switzerland.

How many employees can be managed with codeto?

codeto is designed for businesses from 4 employees up to several hundred. The platform scales with the business and can be flexibly adapted to different team sizes. The pricing model is based on the number of active users.

Does codeto work without an internet connection?

No. codeto requires an internet connection. Neither the web app nor the mobile app work offline. On construction sites or in areas with poor network coverage, we recommend using the smartphone's mobile data connection.

What is the difference between codeto plan, codeto report and codeto one?

codeto plan is the module for workforce, resource and capacity planning. codeto report is the module for time tracking and reporting. codeto one is the combined platform that unites both modules and enables a seamless process from planning to time tracking.

How does time tracking work with codeto?

With codeto report, employees record their working hours directly on their smartphone, even without an internet connection. The reported hours can be approved and evaluated by supervisors. Time tracking is based directly on the planned assignments from codeto plan, which significantly reduces the recording effort.

How does workforce scheduling work with codeto?

With codeto plan, assignments, absences and resources can be planned centrally and clearly. Employees are assigned to projects or assignments, double bookings are automatically prevented and the current plan is visible to all parties at any time, in the browser or on the smartphone.

When can I terminate the contract?

Termination is possible at any time and takes effect at the end of each quarter.

How is billing carried out?

For monthly payments, billing is done quarterly in advance. For annual payments, billing is done for one year in advance.

Are there interfaces for imports and exports?

Yes. codeto already has interfaces to various ERP systems and supports both data imports and exports. The platform has an open design and can be expanded at any time to connect existing system landscapes in a meaningful way.

Is there a free trial period?

Yes. codeto can be tested free of charge for 30 days (or slightly longer if desired). Upon request, we can provide support with a demo so that the test can be carried out in a structured manner.

Can employees also use codeto on mobile devices?

Yes. codeto is designed for use on the go and in the office. Project managers, secretaries and supervisors usually work with the web application. Employees working outside the office mainly use codeto via the mobile app, but can also work via the web if necessary. Mobile and web are available to all user groups.

How complex is the implementation of codeto?

codeto is designed to be easy and efficient to implement. Detailed documentation is available. We also provide support in the form of demos and training during the test phase and implementation.

Can I also use planning and time recording separately?

Yes. codeto has a modular structure. Deployment, resource and capacity planning, and time recording can be used individually or flexibly combined with each other.

Which companies is codeto suitable for?
